Celebrating birthdays at our events
We had two staff birthdays at the Chief Litigation & IP Law Summits in New Orleans back in March and those were celebrated with the help of a big donut cake! Happy birthday to our colleagues Crystal Franklyn and Doug Lampinen.
Chicago
March Madness/St. Patrick’s Day office celebration
To celebrate the Irish holiday and one of America’s big sporting events (March Madness), we brought the office together for a fun game and tacos. We encouraged staff to wear green or go as far as representing their college by wearing college gear. Pictured is staff playing a shooting game in the office.
Pink Wednesday
For the month of February, we had the office wear pink on Wednesdays, not only for breast cancer awareness or because it is the month of love, but also to bring a little colour during the winter!
Whirlyball
The Chicago office Whirlyball outing in April was a great time for staff members of Summits, Conferences and Professional Training to enjoy some friendly competition playing this unique sport. There was also lots of laughter during several rounds of bowling between the Whirlyball games.
New York

The DA team in Montreal competed in an EPIC team building Nerf Battle!
Barbados
For Valentine’s Day, all staff received personalised mugs with chocolates inside and then cupcakes for the entire office.
In February, we also had African Attire Day where staff came dressed in their best African outfits, in celebration of African Awareness Month. Kenneth Onyekwe organised a traditional African treat called ‘puff puff’.
In April, we had an Easter Egg Hunt – a fun filled office egg hunt, with special prizes and surprises. It was a competitive day!
Islamabad
The Islamabad office in Pakistan went to Asian WOK for Iftar dinner to celebrate the month of Ramadan which teaches us patience & humility. This is our annual, must-attend event.
Karachi
The Karachi office in Pakistan went out to celebrate at CHAUPAL for Iftar dinner.
Kuala Lumpur
marcus evans staff from various departments gathered for a Special Buka Puasa Dinner to celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan – a season of fasting for the Muslims. This buka puasa dinner was well enjoyed as there were varieties of food served at the respective hotels which include various traditional Malaysian cuisine such as nasi briyani, roti john, crispy pisang goreng and the list goes on! The employees had the pleasure of embracing one’s culture with an open mind and heart as Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

London
The London team had a busy quarter. We celebrated Valentine’s Day with some rather kitsch decorations, as you can see! Spread the love!
On Employee Appreciation Day in March, the office was treated to a brunch buffet consisting of finger sandwiches, savoury nibbles, fruit, cereal bars, juices, tea and coffee. Healthy and happy employees are, after all, the key to success!
In April, ahead of the UK bank holiday weekend for Easter, the Easter bunny visited the office, bringing a treat package for everyone, and a ‘lucky dip’ for Easter eggs!
To mark the Coronation of King Charles III, the London office organised A Right Royal Quiz on May 9, to test everyone’s knowledge of the royal family, with Tea & Cake for all those taking part.
Cyprus
Tsiknopempti or Smelly Thursday, where tradition is combined with the smell of meat, and the start of the fasting period. A big thank you to all those who organised this day for us and of course our amazing chefs for the day!
